5 Mile Course
UPDATED January 2017 The 5 mile course will remain somewhat consistent with previous years. Starting and finishing in the interior of the park (same spot as March 2016), the course travels for approximately 1/2 mile on interior park roads, and then jumps on the trails, starting at Coyote Canyon. Rather than utilizing Monastery Road, we will once again use Vista Trail, which has been renovated, to Hoffman Homestead.
7 & 10 Mile COurses
The 7 & 10 mile courses share the first 5 miles with the 5 mile course. Before the finish line, you will turn right to head out to the Arroyo Trabuco Trail. This is a wide open, flat, fire road.
You will head out on Arroyo Trabuco until you see the 7 mile turnaround sign, which is also the water station.
You should be able to maintain a 15 minute per mile pace. If you are not at mile 4.85 (the 7 & 10 mile turn off) by 9:00 am, you will be directed to finish the 5 mile course.
